Recession does not hit Google after all!

Hard recession has not affected the internet search leader Google. Top executives of the most popular search engine have received hefty bonuses around $1.2 million each.

Bonuses were not given to Chief executive Schmidt or co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin as they already have huge stakes in Google.

The biggest chunk of $1.64 million was received by

Google
Jonathan Rosenberg in-charge of Google’s products; however this is lesser than last year’s bonus of $1.68 million. Omid Kordestani, Top sales executive and Alan Eustace, company’s engineer, received $1.38 million each. Chief financial officer, Patrick Pichette pocked $1.24 million. He was responsible for the financial prudence that led to the sustenance of the Corporation in spite of the slowdown effect.

Addressing a technology conference, the company’s Chief executive, Schmidt stated the economy as ‘dire’ and said the situation may not improve till 2010.
