South Africa gets a chance to host IPL

The Indian Premier League has decided on 6 venues in South Africa and the match will commence from April 18th. The six places where the matches will be conducted are Durban, Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Pretoria, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth. The match timings will be between 1600 hrs and 2000 hrs IST. This decision was taken after Lalit Modi met Cricket South Africa CEO Gerald Majola.

IPL
IPL T20 matches and since South Africa came with the decision in less than 24 hours, the deal was clinched with South Africa. The country has assured to take care of the security of the players.

The IPL chairman Lalit Modi also stated that weather was the primary factor for selecting South Africa.
