Lack
of medicines is killing more people
in the war-torn island nation. It
is estimated that nearly 500 patients
died due to lack of medicines, says
a health official.
The Ministry of Health also complained
that only 5% of the required medicines
arrived last year. These facts were
stated in a letter and were signed
by the health officers of Mullaitivu
and Kilinochchi. |
