Lalit Modi, IPL chairman and commissioner lost the election to Sanjay Dixit. Lalit Modi was contesting for the prestigious President post of Rajasthan Cricket Association. Modi was able to manage only 13 votes of the 32 votes losing to Dixit, who won with 18 votes.

Ameen Pathan also lost the secretary post to Ashok Kumar Ohri, who acquired 19 votes. The former belongs to the Modi faction and the latter is the President of Churu District Cricket Association.

It is also worth noting that the Nagrik Morcha filed a complaint stating that Rs 6 crore was not deposited in the Chief Ministers relief fund as promised by Modi. A land purchase allegation was also slapped on Modi earlier.
