Prasanna honored for Smile Pinki

Music director Prasanna was honored by the IIT Madras alumni association, Chennai chapter, for the music composed for the Oscar winning documentary film ‘Simle Pinki’. Prasanna is a product of the IIT Madras and later went to the Berk Lee Music School in US to study advanced jazz composition.

Noted personalities like N Ravikiran, N Vijay Siva and Gayathri Girish graced the function.

Prasanna said, “I thank my institution for the high value of education and quality it embedded in me that made me what I am today.”

The president of the IIT Madras Alumni Association L S Ganesh spoke about his relationship with the music director.
