Formation of Tamil Eelam tops PMK manifesto

The PMK election manifesto is out and they have laid stress on the formation of separate Tamil Eelam. The founder of the party, S Ramadoss released the manifesto which stated that the only solution to the racial crisis in Sri Lanka is through the formation of Tamil Eelam.

The manifesto also laid emphasize on efforts to put an end to the fighting in the island nation by pressing the Sri Lankan government for ceasefire, once the new government is formed.

“PMK would strive to establish a separate motherland for Tamils as decided by Eelam Tamils,” read the manifesto. “All assistance given to Sri Lanka would be stopped forthwith,” it said.

The manifesto also spoke about the formation of small states by breaking the bigger ones like Uttar Pradesh and the formation of Telangana state. It also stressed on statehood for Delhi and Puducherry.

PMK manifesto talks about reservation from kindergarten to higher education. As per the policy of the Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss, the party will work for an alcohol-free India.
