March 31, 2009 06:50 PM

Sanjay Dutt’s plea asking for suspension of his conviction was rejected by the Supreme Court today. The Supreme Court refused to suspend the conviction of the actor, who was found guilty in the 1993 Mumbai blast. Sanjay was sentenced to six years jail term for the alleged involvement in the terror attack by the anti-terror court in Mumbai. This means that the actor cannot contest in the forth coming Lok Sabha polls.
