Elections have started and political parties are busy with their election propaganda and party workers are doing all they can to project their party. Though, doing so, should not affect the normal life of the common man. In Namakkal town arches have been put up causing huge traffic jam in the town.

The roads are already in pathetic condition with work for underground drainage system on and to make matters worse Sarath Kumar’s Samathuva Makkal Katchi has put up huge arches welcoming their leader causing damage to the already pitiable traffic movement in the area.

The Karur – Santhai pettaipudur Paramathi Road, Trichy Road opp court and Trichy – Andavar petrol Munk – Maruthi Nagar road are where the arches are put up resulting in snail pace movement of traffic in these areas. Are the authorities listening?
