Sunil Mittal in Philanthropy heroes list

Four Indians feature in the list of ’48 Heroes of Philanthropy’ published by Forbes. Sunil Mittal, Anil Agarwal, Shiv Nadar of HCL Technologies and Rohini Nilekani, wife of Nandan Nilekani co-founder of Infosys Technologies. The remaining 44 are from China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, The Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.

Others who feature in the list are Kazuo Inamori Chew,

Sunil Mittal
Hua Seng of Singapore, founder of Raffles Education and chairman of South Korean chemical firm Choi Sin-Won.

According to Forbes report, “Many opened up their chequebooks to help the victims of the Sichuan earthquake and the Myanmar cyclone in May. Many more donated to health, education, cultural and other causes.”
