After Muslims, Varun targets Sikhs!

The Congress is accusing the Akali Dal in Punjab, which is the ally of the BJP about their silence on the anti-Sikh remarks made by the BJP leader Varun Gandhi. The Congress has vowed to distribute CDs of speeches made in Pilibhit by Varun to prove the attitude of BJP with regard to the minorities in the country.

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has called for a meeting in Amritsar on

Thursday to discuss about Varun’s remarks. It is a known fact that the SGPC consists primarily of Akali Dal. Meanwhile, the Dal Khalsa, a Radical Sikh Organization has asked for clarification from Akali Dal regarding the issue.

The Akali Dal spokesperson has stated that people who massacred Sikhs during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots have no right to speak on this issue. He was mentioning Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar who were accused of leading anti-Sikh riots in 1984.
