11 Al-Qaeda suspects arrested in Yemen

Security officials have announced that the Yemen Security forces have arrested 11 Al-Qaeda suspects in Yemen yesterday.

A new agency has reported that the father of a suspects opened fire on security forces before being shot dead. They have also reported that two policemen were killed during the operation.

Yemen started fighting against Al-Qaeda when it announced that it was behind a failed attempt to blow up a US airliner on Dec 25.
