Former Australian Wicket Keeper and the Deccan Chargers captain Adam Gilchrist has said that he is very confident of retaining the IPL title this year.

Gilchrist and his mates were in Hyderabad to have a brief discussion before the start if the IPL.

Deccan will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in its opening encounter on March 12th. Deccan Chargers will however miss the home advantage since all its matches from Hyderabad were shifted due to political reasons.

It is to be noted that Deccan clinched the title in the second season after been risen from the bottom of the table from the first season.
