A new study has revealed that Dinosaurs were killed 65 million years ago by an asteroid.

The study says that an asteroid which travels faster than a bullet has hit the earth which killed almost more than half living species on the earth.

Dr Gareth Collins of Imperial College London said that the space rock travelled 20 times faster than a bullet.

"The asteroid was about the size of the Isle of Wight and hit Earth 20 times faster than a speeding bullet"—he said.

The study also revealed that the effect of Asteroid is estimated to be one billion times powerful than the atomic bomb at Hiroshima.
