Google acquires yet another website

Google has acquired the famous photo editing site Picnik. Picnik offers to import photos natively from Facebook, Myspace, Picasa Web Albums, Flickr, Yahoo Image search. Users can also upload pictures from their computer or any other website to picnik.

Picnik’s editor has announced this deal in his blog. But however he has not mentioned the financial details about the deal.

Yahoo’s flickr uses Picnik as default. Since its rival Google has acquired it, everyone is now waiting for yahoo’s next move.
