March 06, 2010 02:10 PM

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said India's policy towards Pakistan is 'realistic'.

Singh while speaking in the Lok Sabha, said, "Our policy towards Pakistan is consistent, cautious and realistic.”

He cleared that there is no meaningful discussion with Pakistan.

"The decision to hold foreign-secretary level talks was a calculated one. But we can't have any meaningful discussion with Pakistan till it takes steps to end terror on its part."

The Prime Minister added, “All issues with Pakistan will be solved bilaterally once it adopts reasonable attitude in dealing with terror elements that target India from its soil," Singh added.
