IPL committee has given entire mobile alerts rights (like MS, MMS, alerts, games, live audio commentary and others) to vRock Mobile.

With this agreement vRock becomes the only authorised and official partner of IPL to distribute match-related content. And telecom operators like Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone who gives the match alerts has to buy the content from vRock.

Though the exact financial deals are not given to media, sources say that the IPL mobile market is worth excess of 100 Crores.

IPL chairman Lalit Modi has said that IPL fans can get the alerts anywhere from the world by this association.

"Through this association, IPL fans anywhere in the World will now be able to access scores and information on matches, get live commentary and participate in interactive programmes and contests on their mobile phones"—he said.
