March 02, 2010 01:57 PM

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to Saudi Arabia has shown some positive signs as they signed many agreements covering areas like security, economics, energy and defence.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Saudi King Abdullah signed the agreements after having some lengthy discussions.

Both the leaders have condemned all forms of terrorism. They also said that terrorism threatens all societies and is not linked to any race, colour and belief.

Apart from these four other agreements were also signed including that of Tata Motors. With this Tata Motors will provide school buses worth USD 80 million.

They also requested the Iran government to respond to these efforts in order to remove regional and international doubts about its nuclear programme.

Before the meeting, King Abdullah received the Prime Minister and gave him a welcome ceremony, a rare honour bestowed to visiting dignitaries.
