Alice in Wonderland keeps the box office jingling

Alice in Wonderland has smashed all box office records even surpassing James Cameron’s Avatar, setting new benchmarks for 3D and Imax Corp.

This Walt Disney distributed flick has sold $210.3 million worth of tickets across the globe. According to Box Office Mojo, a research firm, this is the sixth biggest opening ever with collections of around $116.3 million in the US and Canada alone.

It is yet to be seen if Alice in Wonderland will break the tall records of Avatar which is estimated at $2.6 billion around the globe and is still ticking.
