Finally, the man accused of murder of the 3-year-old toddler Gurshan Singh Channa in Melbourne faced the court on Tuesday, but did not apply for bail.

The case was adjourned to June 29 and Gursewak Dhillon did not seek bail but was sitting quietly in the court.

Dhillon is not a relative of the child but was sharing the same rented accommodation where Channa’s parents Harpreet Kaur Channa and her husband Harjit Singh Channa were living.

It is reported that Dhillon was driving around with the child in the boot of his car for over three hours and later dumped the body near a field. The body was later found by a council worker.
