Australia proceeds to the finals
after defeating Netherlands 2-1 on
Thursday. This is the third time Australia
is into the finals and they will play
against the defending champions Germany.
The last two World Cups in 2002 and
2006 were won by Germany as well as
the Gold at the Beijing Olympics.
Germany defeated England 4-1 to take
their place in the finals. If Germany
wins the final match, it will be a
hat trick of titles.
