Preity comments on change in captaincy in Kings XI Punjab

March 12, 2010 04:23 PM

Preity Zinta, co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab commented over the change in captaincy in her team.

Indian middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh led Kings XI Punjab in first two editions of IPL matches.

Now for the third edition of IPL, Sri Lankan Player Kumar Sangakkara is named as the captain for Kings XI Punjab.

"Many IPL teams are re-shuffling in batting, bowling and other departments. Sangakkara is a talented man (to lead the team)," Preity said.

"But Yuvraj is our most valuable player. In our team, I want to say, there is no place for 'I'. It's 'we'. We as a team will win or lose," she added.
