Former Pakistan pacer and captain Wasim Akram has showered praises on the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar for scoring a double ton in the history of one day internationals (ODIs).

''This achievement is all the more creditable as he earned it against a team like South Africa,” Wasim said.

When asked to compare Sachin with Sir Donald Bradman, he said these two greats were from different eras.

''But there is no doubt that Sachin is one of the greatest batsmen ever. It is evident from the fact that he is the highest run getter both in Tests and one day internationals. He is just great in setting records,” he added.

He also mentioned Sachin’s commitment and passion.

''The commitment and passion Sachin displayed in the field is indeed a rare example,'' Wasim said.

He calls the batting maestro as absolutely perfect.

''As a batsman Sachin is absolutely perfect and it is very difficult to plan any strategy against him and get him trapped,'' he said.
