President greets on Women's Day

President Pratibha Patil Sunday, on the eve of International Women's Day said the country's women will continue to be a major determinant of its future progress and inclusive growth.

Patil on the 100th edition message stated, "Every year, we celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, to recognise the dedication and achievements of women. This year is even more special, as this is the 100th edition. Indian women as part of this epoch making movement have played an exemplary role and will continue to be a major determinant of our future progress and inclusive growth."

"I have great pleasure in extending greetings and best wishes to the women of India for their continued success," Patil added.
