The following week on Alayam program on Makkal TV a special episode on Theerthamalai will be aired. Theerthamali is a pilgrimage destination located 18 km from Harur in Dharmapuri district. The temple is located at the slope of the hillock and the name is derived from the five springs in the temple.

The main god of the temple is Lord Siva and is called Lord Theerthagireeswar. A dip in the water in the spring is said to cleanse all the sins.

The Theerthams that are found here are the Agasthya Theertham, AgniTheertham. Kumara Theertham and the Gouri Theertham. The fifth one Hanuman Theertham is located 16 km away from the main temple near the banks of the river South Pennar.
