CAN-STOP, a charitable organization, works towards helping patients belonging to economically poor background in five government hospitals that include Institute of Child Health, Govt. Women’s Hospital, Govt. General Hospital, Govt. Royapettah Hospital and the Arignar Anna Govt. Cancer Hospital (Kanchipuram).

Some of the programs that are offered by the organization are counseling to patients and family members, home visits, referrals, nutritional supplement schemes, CAN-Wish project, Sponsor a Child project, Blood bank and Drug bank.

To mark its 12th anniversary, CAN-STOP is organizing a dance program called “MA3KA” by popular Bharathanatyam dancer Anita Ratnam and Revathy Sankkaran on 24-3-10 at 7.00 pm at the Chinmaya Heritage Center, Harrington Road, Chetpet, Chennai.
