CPI leaders arrested

The 140th circle of Communist Party of India (CPI) staged a demonstration today at 690 Jawaharlal Nehru Road demanding the closure of TASMAC liquor shop which is located near a school.

The state executive committee member P Sethuraman, South Chennai district secretary S.Elumalai, National Federation of India Women state head R Suseela were arrested while scaffolding a protest.
