After winning the first two games
of IPL3, the KKR captain Sourav Ganguly
has said that they will celebrate
after putting few more wins under
their belt.
He also said that it is good to see
players delivering on right occasions.
"We are playing well in this
format of the game and that's what
is important. It's important that
somebody stands out, that's been happening.
Angelo (Mathews) played brilliantly
in the last game and today it was
Manoj (Tiwary), (Brad) Hodge and Angelo
(Mathews) again... Somebody or the
other is delivering. That's very good"—he
said.
When questioned about the place for
foreigners when they return Sourav
said, "I pick players according
to form... Four of them are top-class
international stars whether it's (Brendon)
McCullum, (Chris) Gayle, (David) Hussey
or (Shane) Bond. We are winning and
we will see when they arrive."
Ganguly also said that there is not
enough room for Wasim Akram to train
their bowlers as they travel a lot.
"He is working with the bowlers.
The time is very short. We don't get
much practice time because we are
travelling and playing. But he speaks
to them and hopefully, he will be
a part of this franchise for many
years. Young boys like Ishant (Sharma),
(Ashok) Dinda, Varun Aaron, along
with Bond and Langeveldt, will get
a lot of help as far as bowling is
concerned"—he added.
