A special session on ‘Personal Hygiene and You’ was conducted for the students of Marriott Home from Kancheepuram district between 10 am and 1 pm at the hotel premises.

The program consisted of dental hygiene, importance of maintaining cleanliness of skin, nails and hands; the glitter experiment (cross-contamination of germs through contact); lice hunting; germs and the body, Mr. Clean and Tidy and other fun-related games with jumbled words, true/false etc.

There was also an interaction session where Marriot associates spent time answering the queries of the children. Of course, there were games and other activities.

Commenting on the program, Mr. Karan Berry, General Manager, Courtyard by Marriott, said that “being a part of the hospitality sector it is essential for every hotelier to know the importance of personal hygiene and the vitality of its role in our lives. Imparting knowledge to the young ones at the right time shapes their mind and perceptions towards their routines and habits for the betterment of their lives. In light of this, we took on the decision to invite the students from Rising Star Outreach to give them an experience of hospitality and also make their day one with fun and awareness.”
