Internet may fade away by 2010

The ever advancing internet traffic may lead to its death, it is felt by experts. Applications like YouTube and Skype may be held responsible for it.

According to a statistics, the amount of traffic that was generated by YouTube in 2006 was more than the entire Internet in the year 2000. But still experts in the field believe that Internet is in no danger and will not crumple.

While Britain and America are making huge investments to upgrade their Internet infrastructure, engineers are getting ready to replace the Internet with a super fast ‘grid’. This is seen as an alternative even if capacity updates fail.
