KKR declared the richest team though last in the match table

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team may have been in the news for all the wrong reasons, but for once it is making news for the right reason. The Shah Rukh Khan-owned KKR team has emerged as the richest team of the twenty-twenty cricket tournament held in South Africa. The value of collection is marked at $2 billion.

The Mumbai Indians take the second place with $41.6 million followed by Shilpa Shetty’s Rajasthan Royals

This analysis was conducted by UK-based international brand valuation consultancy Brand Finance Plc.

The fourth place was secured by Chennai Super Kings at $39.4 million, Delhi Daredevils at $39.2 million, Royal Challengers Bangalore at $37.4 million, Kings XI Punjab at $36.3 million and Deccan Chargers, Hyderabad at $34.8 million.

When it comes to sponsors the Mumbai Indian Team stands tall with 11 sponsors, Kolkata Knight Rides 10 sponsors, Kings IX Punjab 7 sponsors and Rajasthan Royals 3 sponsors.
