Tata reigns over Google, Microsoft

The list of the Top 200 most reputed companies in the world is out and 17 Indian companies feature in it.

Tata Group, State Bank of India and Infosys Technologies were among the top fifty in the list. Tata Group was given the prestigious 11th position, much above Google, Microsoft, General Electric, Coca-Cola, Toyota and Unilever. SBI was placed at the 29th position and Infosys at 39th position with a pulse score of 78.11 and 77.45 respectively.

The top spot was snatched by Italy-based chocolate producer Ferrero with a vote of 85.17 on a scale of 100.

Other Indian companies on roll are Larsen & Tubro (47), Maruti Suzuki (49), Hindustan Unilever (69), ITC Ltd (95), Canara Bank (102), Hindustan Petroleum (111), Indian Oil (112), Wipro (116), M&M (137), Bharti Airtel (163), Bank of Baroda (174), Bharat Petroleum (175) and Punjab National Bank (177)
