Unknown bidder buys rare blue diamond

A 7.03 carat rare blue diamond was sold for $8.4 million at the Sotheby’s in Geneva yesterday.

The diamond was originally 26.58 carats and was cut and polished giving it a flawless appearance stated an official in Sotheby’s. The color of the diamond was a rare blue and the auction house stated that the color was natural.
