Malpractices in polling booths, complains Jaya

The AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa is getting feelers from all major political parties in the Center, but is tight lipped about her support as she is waiting for the final verdict from the people.

She has made it clear, that she is not going to respond to anybody and her decision is solely dependent on the poll results.

feelers from many places. I am not responding to them now. Everything depends on the election results. If the results are as expected then I will go to Delhi.”

Jayalalithaa also complained about the manipulation of the electronic voting machines and ‘bogus voting’ in the Central Chennai constituency. She added that if the ‘two leaves’ symbol is pressed, the light flashes against the DMK’s rising sun symbol. Another allegation by the AIADMK chief is that around 150 voting machines were out of order in the South Chennai constituency. She also highlighted on the absence of paramilitary forces in the polling stands.
