the Madurai district is already celebrating
the victory of MKAzhagiri, (son of
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
The DMK cadres have fixed garlanded
posters, cutouts and banners across
the city to mark the victory of Azhagiri.
A poster reads that the Madurai district
will be called ‘Azhagiriyar
Mavattam’ from 16-5-2009.
