The
all new Ritz was launched by Maruti
Suzuki India Limited on May 19th,
2009. India’s first BS-IV and
OBD compliance fuel efficient passenger
car is available in both diesel and
petrol options.
Ritz is designed for the Indian consumer
and the Suzuki team has made specific
changes to meet the Indian specifications.
The length of the car is 3.7 meters,
height 1.6 meters and the width is
1.7 meters. It can accommodate five
adults with a comfortable leg space.
It has a tight turning radius of 4.7
meters. Ritz is in tune with the Indian
road conditions. The rear wheel accommodates
bigger and wider tyres that can be
found only in Ritz.
Ritz can claim to be the first car
in India to be tested and verified
by the EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility).
Ritz is ELV (End of Life Vehicle)
complaint, norms that are predominantly
found in the European countries.
High grade plastic parts are used
to keep the engine lighter, thereby
lowering friction and improving fuel
efficiency.
The exteriors and interiors of the
car is a treat to watch. It has youthfulness
about the car and can be characterized
as sporty. Steering with integrated
audio control is a feature to watch
out for.
Ritz will be available in glistening
grey, racing green, bakers chocolate,
firebrick red, blue blaze, silky silver,
midnight black and superior white.
