The
Congress prince will decide who will
get what in the second round of the
Manmohan government.
Though Rahul himself has declined
any position in the cabinet stating
that he wanted to develop the party,
he may ask for few cabinet berths
for his young MPs. Some of the names
making rounds are Sachin Pilot, Jyotiraditya
Scindia, Jitin Prasada and Ashok Tanwar.
The rise of Rahul inside the party
was evident with Rahul attending the
UPA meeting to decide on the new cabinet.
The Prime Minister yesterday confirmed
that Rahul Gandhi will not join the
cabinet. |
