YSR sworn in as new AP CM

The swearing in ceremony of the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister took place at the LB cricket stadium, Hyderabad, witnessed a sea of crowd. The Congress swept both the Assembly as well as the Lok Sabha polls and Y S Rajasekar Reddy has been sworn in as the Chief Minister for the second consecutive term. The Governor, Narayan Dutt Tiwari presided over the oath taking ceremony and swore Y S Rajasekar Reddy into office of the Chief Minister. YSR took his oath in Telugu amidst huge applause and crackers.

It may be noted that YSR’s wife and grandson were on the dais while the swearing in took place.
