CBSE class 10 results announced, Chennai bags the top place

As usual the girls have dominated in the CBSE class 10 examinations. The CBSE results for Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Chandigarh was announced today.

A total of 1,19,014 students appeared for the examination of which the overall pass percentage for boys is 88.22 and the girls is 92.25.

The topper is Akshaya Rangarajan from the SBOA School, Chennai. She scored 98.2 per cent. She attributed her success to her teachers and parents.
