Kawasaki Bajaj to launch sports bike Ninja 250R

Kawasaki Bajaj will soon launch its new super premium bike Ninja 250R in the Indian market. The bike will be available in the market at the price tag of around Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2 lakh.

The new premium bike Ninja has 249cc four-stroke engine, 32 bhp, DOHC, liquid cooled parallel twin draped in green, and will deliver a mileage of 42.kmpl, it will be available in two colours Ebony Black and Lime Green.

Mr. Rajiv Bajaj, MD of Bajaj Auto while speaking during the launch of Ninja said, “We are experiencing production shortage in case of Discover and Pulsar motorbikes as the sales of these two models are jointly expected to hit 1,30,000 mark. Also, the availability of the tyres for these vehicles is under pressure. This has resulted into certain waiting period for these two models.”

Kawasaki Ninja from Japan is one of the smaller capacity sports bike around the world.

Bookings for the new Ninja bikes will commence from Diwali and deliveries are offered immediately by the company, Kawasaki Bajaj intends to sell at least 1000 units of Ninja 250R this year.
