Awareness Peace rally to mark Gandhi Jayanthi

Gandhi Jayanthi celebrated on October 2 was observed strictly as International Day of Non-violence. The Karuna Club of Sethu Bhaskara Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Pudur, Ambattur had organized a Peace Rally to emphasize on the dynamic Gandhian principles mainly Peace and Non-violence. These Gandhian principles are lacking in the present generation.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr.Kumaravelu from Ambattur flagged off the rally. Along with him Pulavar KR.Sethu and the school Principal, Mr.S.P.P.Selvakumar and nearly 450 students participated and felicitated the rally. The students were distributing pamphlets to generate awareness about global peace through non-violence to the public.
