Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja appeals PCB to look for young batsmen, after five-wicket loss to New Zealand in the Champions Trophy semifinals in South Africa the former captain feels that Pakistan's experienced players' contribution was not to the level mark.

''I think it's high time that we should start looking for young batsmen who could play for 10 years,'' Raja said

Raja pointed out young Umar Akmal, ''The only silver lining was that we found a young batsman in Umar Akmal, and we should look for more such batsmen. We should immediately start grooming these youngsters and give them chance in the senior team,'' he said.

Raja praised Umar for his performance in the opening match against West Indies, where Umar scored 41(not out), which led Pakistan to victory.

''Umar showed what a youngster could do in international cricket, provided he is given a proper chance,'' Raja added.
