Tamil Nadu government has announced that two ministers from Tamil Nadu will take part in the inaugural conference of State Ministers of Food Processing Industries in New Delhi.

On the release they said that Agriculture Minister Veerapandi S. Arumugam and Dairy Development Minister U. Madhivanan will make their presence in the conference in which is expected to discuss government policies and procedures.

During the meeting the ministers from various state might also discuss about diversification of product portfolio and commercialization, capacity building, institutional strengthening and enabling policy structure for food processing sector; schemes for infrastructure development, human resource development etc.
