The Department of Posts comes up with a new facility which will allow people to direct their money remittances through post offices.

For this purpose the department has joined hands with Eurogiro, a global network of banks and financial institutions. This deal will allow the people in India to transfer the money to anywhere in the world in just 1 hour.

Chief Post Master General of Tamil Nadu Circle S.K. Chakrabarti has announced that Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology A. Raja will launch the service on October 24.

He also said that the Union minister will also give away the prizes to the post offices and circle offices for their excellent customer service during the year.
