South African-born actress Charlize Theron,34, auctioned off a kiss for $140,000, and the winning bidder was a woman.

Theron took part in a live auction in a gala event for the charity OneXOne, which is an organization committed to helping children in developing regions.

The actress was set to auction off a trip to South Africa, which includes meeting Nelson Mandela, World Cup tickets, a safari.

The highest bid was $37,000, but Theron decided to sweeten the deal by offering a seven-second kiss to any male bidder who would be willing to give $130,000 to the charity.

Surprisingly, a woman agreed to pay the deal with a $140,000 bid, if Theron would raise her offer to twenty seconds.

Theron is in a long-term relationship with actor Stuart Townsend, 36. "My boyfriend is not here tonight," she joked before a smooch that lasted almost half a minute on stage.
