English footballer David Beckham was detained at the Los Angeles Airport for nearly three hours and his bags were screened.

Beckham was back from London after celebrating the English victory with his friend Dave Gardner at London’s Nobu. England won the match against Belarus at Wembley.

The soccer star was not happy with what transpired and even asked his handlers to speed up the process, but nothing could be done and as a result he had to wait for three long hours at the airport.

Beckham lives with his wife Victoria and two sons in the US, as he is part of American Major League Soccer Club, Los Angeles Galaxy.

The 34 year old also plays for the England national team.
