AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa has asked the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to remove A. Raja, Union Minister of Communications and Information Technology and rein in Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers M.K. Alagiri.

Jayalalithaa has said that Raja has created a huge loss to the nation in the airwave spectrum allotment.

She also quoted saying that loss to the nation implies gain for someone.

“Loss to the nation implies gain for someone. The people have right to know about the gainer. If a fair probe is to take place, Mr. Raja should be removed now. Only if that is done, Dr. Manmohan Singh will not only be doing the right thing but also be seen as fair and above board”—she said.

Following this she has also urged the prime minister to immediately rein in the Union Minister of Chemicals and Fertilizers M.K. Alagiri.
