Queen of Pop, Madonna revealed that her divorce from British filmmaker Guy Ritchie last year, was so painful and hectic worklife saved her from killing herself after divorce.

The 51-year old pop icon, has admitted that after splitting with Ritchie she felt uneven and she was distracted only by her work, which includes world tour.

“It was a challenging year. I may have thrown myself off a building. I think work saved me and I'm very grateful that I had worked to do.” Madonna said.

The Material Girl has just completed her ‘Sticky and Sweet’ world tour.

Madonna has worked with Justin Timberlake for her hit 4 minutes and also worked with Lil Wayne on her new song Revolver.

“Most of the joy of the shows is the magic of creating them - theatre. I'm a perfectionist. I like hard work I like to sweat,” Madonna said.
