Drunken Pilot delays AI flight

An Air India flight which was scheduled to leave Mumbai at 00:45 hours yesterday to New York has been delayed due to a drunken pilot.

Air India flight AI-141, was scheduled to leave to New York and one of the four pilots failed the breathalyzer test conducted by the airline doctors.

Air India authorities has finally made a replacement in the form of Capt Ramalingam.

"One of the four pilots of the flight failed the breathalyzer test conducted by the airline doctors as part of the pre-flight checks. He was replaced by Capt Ramalingam," a source said to TOI.
