Australian captain Ricky Pointing has said that it will be tough for any batsman to reach the milestones set by Sachin Tendulkar.

Ponting also said that the little master is the benchmark for the international players around the world.

"I was asked about this (chasing Tendulkars records) in South Africa. He's been the benchmark for international players in the world"—pointing said during a media conference in Mumbai yesterday.

He also greeted Sachin for playing 20 years of International Cricket.

“I think he's going into his 20th year in international cricket which in itself is a remarkable feat within itself,” he said.
