Rs 25 crore loss at Mantralayam Temple

The heavy floods in the state of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh has created a huge loss at the Mantralayam Sri Raghavendra Temple.

The Temple will be closed for devotees for the next 20 days and hence the pilgrims are advised not to venture into Mantralayam for darshan of Sri Raghavendra.

The temple premises including the Brindavan and the place where the devotees offer their prayers and the surrounding areas of Brindavan have been damaged due to the torrential rains.

The renovation work is in progress and devotees who wish to donate to the Matt can send in their contributions to SRS Mutt Flood Relief Fund, SBI A/c. No. 30912927639 IFCS Code No. SBI00002755 or Nanjangud Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Canara Bank SB A/c. No. 0914101107014.

The management also warns the devotees not to entertain anyone else who seeks donations in the name of the Mutt.
